Police FC’s January signing, Mohamed Bajaber, continued his impressive goal-scoring streak, netting his fourth goal in as many matches for club and country. His latest strike proved decisive in Police FC’s crucial 1-0 victory over Posta Rangers, a result that ensured they retained their position at the top of the FKF Premier League table.

Bajaber’s rise in Kenyan football has been meteoric, particularly after his stunning goal in Harambee Stars’ dramatic 3-3 comeback draw against The Gambia in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, during a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier. His impressive performance earned widespread acclaim from fans and national team head coach Beni McCarthy, leading to a well-deserved starting spot in Kenya’s next fixture against Gabon.

Before his international exploits, Bajaber had already showcased his goal-scoring prowess at club level, netting a brace in Police FC’s 3-1 triumph over Murang’a SEAL on March 15, 2025. Since his arrival from Nairobi City Stars, where he had already scored four goals, Bajaber has proven to be a crucial asset in Police FC’s title push.

With his tally now at eight goals for Police FC and one for Harambee Stars this season, Bajaber’s contributions are proving invaluable. Under head coach Etienne Ndayiragije, Police FC currently leads the FKF Premier League standings with 48 points, holding a one-point advantage over second-placed Tusker FC and a five-point lead over defending champions Gor Mahia, who have played a game fewer.
